The Quarterdecks Harbour Retreat has a select number of villas designated as pet friendly.  Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always accepted.  The following represent our pet friendly retreat policy.

• $100.00 non refundable charge to cover the cost of professional cleaners
• Small Pets only - generally less than 10 kilos
• Pets must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guests
• Pet must comply with local legislation requirements
• Pet must be kept on a leash when in the retreats property unless it is in the guests villa or villa's courtyard.
• Pets must not be left unattended. If guests require a pet sitter or pet supplies, they should contact the concierge with advance notice.
• Pets are not allowed in the pool or in the pool area of the retreat.
• Guests are responsible  for cleaning up after their pets on the retreat property and in the neighbourhood.
• Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Management reserves the right to have any aggressive disruptive, or barking dogs removed by the pets owner from the property.
• Guests must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing their room.
• Guests are responsible for all property damages and or personal injuries resulting from their pets
• Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the retreat, it's owners and it's operator from all liability and damages suffered as a result of the guests pet.

No pets are allowed on Fraser Island, for guests wanting to go to Fraser Island, please contact reception, to arrange for a pet sitter for the day, or information on kennels  for guests wanting a overnight experience to Fraser Island, Lady Elliot Island, or while on your Whale Watching trip.
